Post-Service Feedback That Actually Gets Read
A technician finishes a repair. They close the work order in the service management system. The customer gets an email asking how it went. When feedback shows up on the service record in real time, something shifts in how the organization responds. The service manager sees a negative response before the end of the day. They can call the customer back while the experience is still fresh. They can talk to the technician while the details are still clear. They can fix the problem before it compounds.
This is the difference between feedback as a reporting exercise and feedback as an operational tool. Reports tell you what happened. Real-time, record-linked feedback lets you do something about it.
And it's not just about catching problems. When a technician gets consistent praise, that's valuable too. It's coaching data. It's recognition data. It's proof that a process is working. But only if someone actually sees it.
